Susan Gilbert Practice Manager

Susan Gilbert joined the team at Tieve Tara Medical Centre in October 2016 and works closely with the partners on the strategic development of the practice. 

She is also responsible for other aspects of the practice such as financial control, human resources and service development. 

She is an experienced manager with over 20 years previous experience working for another practice in the Wakefield area.

Mrs Tracey Cooper (f)

Tracey joined the practice on July 1st 2021 as head of Primary Care now that practice is part of Spectrum HC.


Ms Sophie Egan (f)

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Mrs Janet Pease
Janet worked as a secretary to an accountant for 8 years before she joined Tieve Tara in 1991.
She undertook and passed the Practice Receptionist Course and also attended a Time Management Course, and commenced her current secretarial role in 2001.

She has also  completed a Diploma in Medical Terminology and has also attended a Child Behavioural Management course.
