Opening Times

*We have evening surgeries on Wednesdays from 18:30 to 19:45. Please note that the doors are locked to the general public and only patients who have booked appointments will be allowed in the surgery during these times

One Wednesday every month the Medical Centre closes at 12:00 until 18:00 for Training. 

Notice of these dates are available on the Staff Training Closures tab and on the surgery entrance door.

We also have young persons appointments with a practice nurse every week.

6:30pm - 8:00am

GP Care Wakefield

From 6.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday if you ring the surgery number 01977 668455 you will get access to GP care Wakefield and be able to get an appointment with either a nurse or doctor if ill and need to be seen that day. At Pontefract.  Please see our extended hours leaflet. Appointments are also available for those that cannot get in during normal hours at Trinity Medical Centre in Wakefield .  Outside these hours you will be put through the normal on call service at 111.

Staff Training Closures

The practice has a long history of training and education and all staff attend regular training events to ensure that their skills are up to date.

One Wednesday in each month the medical centre closes at 12:00 for TARGET training and does not re-open until 08:00am the following morning.
